The bent over row is a very popular compound exercise, it primarily targets your back but also works your triceps, glutes and lower body. This is a pull exercise, so could be incorporated into your pull split days, upper body workouts or added to your circuit training.
This exercise is great for building strength and stability. It is common to do this exercise using a barbell, however, you could also use dumbbells or weight plates if you want to increase range of motion. Before doing the bent over row please make sure you warm up with a light weight, it is also important to use correct form to prevent back injury.
